Yamaha FZ-25
The FZ25 is the bigger sibling of FZ and it looks the part. While it retains the basic design cues of the FZ family, it looks slightly more butch. The headlight is more angular, the tank more muscular and the seat design sportier. The design emphasises the sense if mass-forward layout. Those cowl-like appendages protruding forward from the tank are particularly likely to find favor among Indian buyer. Under the tank there is a 249cc, singe-cylinder, air cooled, four-stroke engine with SOCH and two valves. This engine produces 20.9bhp @ 8,000rpm and 20nm of torque @ 6,000rpm. It features yamaha's blue core technology, an initiative to extract maximum performance and fuel economy from its engine by achieving optimum combustion, power loss reduction and precise control of fuel supply and ignition timing.

I'm not happy with the power supply of the engine as its rivals like TVS APACHE RTR 200V and KTM DUKE 200 generates more power even with small engine capacity. The engine has a five-speed gearbox that will transfer power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. The FZ25 is priced at Rs. 1,19,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is a fair bit more than the TVS Apache RTR 200 (Rs. 93,725) and a fair bit lesser than the KTM Duke 200 (Rs. 1,44,000). However, considering the power figure and lack of ABS, it feels a tad expensive !
KTM DUKE 250
The latest addition to the KTM Duke range in India is the 250 Duke. The new 250 Duke features a completely new bodywork similar to the upcoming 2017 200 Duke and gets features from both the new 390 Duke and 200 Duke. The 250 Duke is styled similar to the new 390 Duke but gets black wheels and black front frame. The headlamp is a split unit as the new 390 Duke but does not get LED technology featuring a conventional halogen bulb instead. It loses out on the color TFT screen and has an updated digital unit
instead. The 248.8cc liquid-cooled motor makes 30PS, 5PS more than the 200 Duke.It gets a slipper clutch like the 390 Duke. The 250 Duke will sit in between the 200 Duke and the 390 Duke.KTM locally manufactures the 250 Duke and exports it to other countries so local production keeps prices competitive at Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-Delhi).The 250 Duke faces competition from the Benelli TNT 25 and the Mahindra Mojo.

The bike is costly and the brakes could get better as it has similar brakes to KTM duke 200. The frame is good, tank is more muscular. Throttle response is amazing, it feels aggressive when we engage throttle.
